About the Event
Section 1 - Beginners 16th March 2024 (saturday)
The primary goal of the camp is to establish a robust foundation for beginners. In addition to fundamental skills, students will receive guidance on effective practice techniques for continued improvement outside the classroom. The camp is also dedicated to fostering a supportive learning community, encouraging students to inspire growth in each other through shared experiences and collaborative learning.
Limit to 50 students
Section 2 - Grade 1-2 17th March 2024 (sunday)
In contrast to the beginners' camp, participants in Grade 1-2 will advance beyond the foundational stage of mastering stable open strings. This level introduces the crucial element of engaging a relaxed wrist during play, emphasizing the development of proper technique. The incorporation of repetitive, technique-based drills is designed to cultivate performers' muscle memory, fostering a more nuanced and controlled approach to violin playing.
